What to bring to your first visit

The more Dr Kumar can see, the clearer the picture — and the better the advice he can give you on your very first visit. If you have any of the following, please carry them along (originals are ideal, but clear photos on your phone are fine too):

  • Previous prescriptions — anything a doctor has written for you recently
  • Test and lab reports — blood tests, biopsy or pathology reports
  • Scans and films — ultrasound, CT, MRI or endoscopy reports, along with the actual films or CDs where you have them
  • A list of your current medicines — including anything for blood pressure, diabetes, blood thinners, or regular supplements

Don’t worry if you can’t find everything — bring what you have, and the team will help with the rest.

Insurance & payment

A wide range of health insurers and TPAs are accepted, and the clinic team will gladly help you with cashless approvals, pre-authorisation paperwork and any documents your insurer needs. If you’re unsure whether your policy covers your treatment, just ask — someone will walk you through it and help make the process as smooth as possible.

FOR PATIENTS OUTSIDE BANGALORE

Not in Bangalore? Start with an online second opinion

If you can’t travel easily, or you’d simply like an experienced surgeon’s honest read on your reports and scans before deciding anything, Dr Kumar offers online video consultations for patients across India and abroad. It’s a calm, unhurried way to understand your options from wherever you are.

Prefer to talk to someone first?

Sometimes it’s easier to just call or message. Dr Kumar’s team is here to help — no pressure, no obligation.
